Diesto formed in 2000, having since put out four full-length albums, two currently out on Seventh Rule and Exigent Records, with another full-length on the way. This heavy sludge metal four-piece has played a number of festivals, including NXNW, Musicfest Northwest, PDX Pop Now, and Stumpfest, sharing the stage with the likes of YOB, Unsane, Rabbits, Red Fang, Lesbian, Black Cobra, Flipper, Prizehog, Danava, Totimoshi, Nebula, Saviours, and Zeke, in addition to harnessing Portland, Oregon's local metal scene among the likes of Norska, Salvador, and recently added Nanotear favorites Lord Dying. With the help of Eolian Empire, Diesto now plans to release the long-awaited For Water or Blood in August 2013.
